Dwight Howard Makes All-Defensive Second Team
There's plenty of beastliness in the above Dwight Howard highlight reel, including several blocked shots.
A few days after earning All-NBA First Team honors, Magic center Dwight Howard learned today that the NBA's coaches named him to the All-Defensive Second team. He joins Chris Paul, Raja Bell, Shane Battier, and Tayshaun Prince on that team. Kobe Bryant, Bruce Bowen, Kevin Garnett, Tim Duncan, and Marcus Camby made the All-Defensive First Team.

This is a great year for Howard, his coming out party if you will. All Star, 1st teamer, and 2cd team all defense. What kind of improvement curve is this guy on? I was looking over at Basketball-reference.com and it looks like the only center he’s behind in terms of age and output is Shaq. And in that match up he is already better defensively! I think the Dream was 2cd team all defense when he was 22, but had a lower per. Dwight is a freak!
