Magic spend the night in Cincy

From Sports Illustrated.com via the Associated Press:

The Orlando Magic's flight from Detroit to Orlando was diverted because of a mechanical problem.

Team spokesman Joel Glass says the plane landed in Cincinnati as a precaution late Monday.

No one was injured and the team was expected to arrive in Orlando today.  Just add more complications to a series that is already looking bleak for the Magic.

Yes they are

BECAUSE I JUST SAW RASHARD LEWIS AT PUBLIX jkflsdjflksdjfls.

Very tall. Very very tall. Baseball cap pulled down low. Diamond earring. TALL.

sdhfjkdsffhkdjfhkdjfh. I didn’t ask for an autograph b/c he was with his family, but still! !!!!

I have no one else to share this with, hence you :DD

Haha

I know a guy, a cashier at Costco, who helped Rashard with his groceries (or something like that). It’s good to know that even the filthy rich have the fiscal sense to buy in bulk.

LOL

At first I kinda stared at him for a bit b/c with the hat I wasn’t positive it was him. But the earrings, plus the being 6-10 thing, I realized it was definitely him :D I didn’t have the heart to go up to him and start squealing about the Magic b/c he was carrying his baby girl around while his wife shopped. It was so sweeeeet :D /girl moment

I was waiting in line once with my parents at the Boston Fish House when Shaquille O’Neal got up to leave. Half the employees took their picture with him and there I am in the line in the background grinning like an idiot. That was only a few years ago, too.

I’m not sure why I’ve run into two basketball players when I’m around food…

I saw Grant Hill

A few years ago at a Best Buy (the one on I Drive) around Christmas time. I was trying not to be obvious, but I was right there next to him. No one bothered him and left him alone to do his Christmas shopping. I was right behind him at one point and was worried he’d accidentally step on me and cause another ankle injury.

My older brother saw Brian Cook at a Gamestop a few months back.

LOL :D Who knows, it probably would’ve happened to him and his weak ankles.

Holliana in Winter Park. I know he lives in WP but there are Publixes on the really rich side of WP so I have no idea why he was at that one.

I hope Rashard didn’t buy any “turnovers” at Publix with all the turnovers he had in Game 2.

LOL

I think he bought some sticky tape to wrap around his hands.

How seriously should the Magic pursue Clippers free-agent guard Corey Maggette?
  • As seriously as possible, even if it means trading Hedo Turkoglu and filler to Los Angeles in a sign-and-trade deal
  • Fairly seriously, as in offering the full mid-level exception, and thus losing the cap space to sign any other free-agents
  • Not seriously, as in offering only the low-level veteran's exception
  • Not at all.
