New Blog: Backing the Pack for NC State Fans!

League sources say [Boston Celtics GM Danny Ainge] made a bid for the Orlando Magic’s J.J. Redick recently, a guard he’s long coveted, but an offer of J.R. Giddens and Gabe Pruitt couldn’t come close to prying Redick. What’s more, Orlando isn’t motivated to fortify the Celtics. Suddenly, the Magic believe they can beat Boston.

The comments are the Celtics blog are both hilarious and obnoxious.

“Also, this proves again people have little to no respect for us…even the magic are sitting back licking there chops thinking they can beat us…do I smell a first round exit? seriously”

That’s right, people totally disrespect the Celtics. I mean, the team’s, like, never on national television, amirite? And hardly ever gets mentioned on ESPN and totally hasn’t been one of the top ranked teams in the NBA over the past two years, despite the team’s great suckitude lately. God, give me a break. And even I have issues with their easy dismissal of Redick. I might not like the dude that much, but he has been working his butt off lately and doing really well off the bench. The Celtics would be lucky to have him. It’s not like the Celtics’ defense has been top notch lately, either. I’m sure JJ can guard a chair better than half the team can right now.

Ugh, still glad I don’t live their anymore.

Don't worry about the comments.

I don’t think the Magic have no respect for the Celtics .. they’re simply confident in themselves. With that being said, they know that to be the champs, you got to beat the champs. And last I checked, Boston is still the reigning champs.

I agree about Reddick

I know we all like to make fun of him at times, but I feel we are the only ones who are allowed to because he is our guy. It’s like when I used to pick on my little brother when we were kids; I’m permitted to do it, but the second somebody else messed with him, I wailed on them.

Besides, J.J. is playing nicely efficient for the Magic lately and hope he can keep it up. He improved his defense this year to be passable (guys still attack him, but he makes it harder for them) and now he is nailing his shots.
